Any
one who knows me can tell you that I have been singing
almost before I was able to talk. Piano didn't stick
with me for more than just a few months, but something
about the guitar caught my interest. At fifteen years
old (four years ago) I sang at an evangelistic meeting
and, to my surprise, everyone liked it! The team who was
hosting the meetings invited me to join them in Atlanta,
Georgia, for their next series. You might have seen the
meetings on 3ABN's "On The Road" with David Asscherick.
I performed only a little in public prior to that time
but continued to become more and more comfortable with
it until today when I feel almost completely comfortable
up front. This is a big step for me since, for most of
my life, I have been quite shy. God will certainly bless
us with more than just talents-He will give us the
boldness to share them with others.
A month after returning home from Atlanta, I left again
for South Dakota and Black Hills Mission College, which
specializes in teaching Bible Work and Evangelism. Some
of the proceeds from this CD will go to support Mission
College. They have an undying commitment to spread the
Word of God. The information I learned there helped me
minister more effectively and in ways that I wouldn't
have imagined. But more than anything, the spiritual
atmosphere and the true Christ like love of the people
there made an everlasting impression on my mind, one
that I would like to imitate.
Music is just a part of the things that I enjoy. I love
animals-especially horses-cooking, biking, drawing, and
fishing are just a few of my hobbies-but mostly animals.
I have a burden to share with others my love for Jesus
and the talents He has blessed me with. With all that I
see in the world, I know it cannot be long until Jesus
comes and I feel blessed to be a part of those that will
hurry His coming.
God bless,
