Crystal & Natasha Poholka were born to
sing. Ever since they were toddlers they
have had a strong love for music and
with each new year a greater desire to
sing...
Inspired by a TV commercial the girls
discovered their own unique voices that
blended perfectly together.
Their first big singing event, singing
at the A.S.I international convention
with an audience of over 3,000 people,
left the girls undaunted and they went
on to charm the crowd with a rendition
of Albert Hay Malotte's, "The Lord's
Prayer."
One of the other performers was SafeTV
President and CEO, Carlos Pardeiro who
immediately invited the girls on his
show, "Purely Music."
The response was incredible. The viewing
audience were astonished by the sweet,
angelic voices and music professionals
were amazed at the girls professionalism
and poise. In fact Crystal and Natasha
would go on to win a Silver Angel Award
for their performances on that show...
After appearing on SafeTV the girls
began receiving invitations to perform
across the United States. Christian
radio stations wanted to play their
music and people wanted them to give
concerts in churches and halls.
Almost overnight the girls turned from
unknown to semi famous but the
experience has left them completely
unchanged.
They have toured the Ukraine with a
youth orchestra, performed for Pepsi,
served as soloists for the "Chorus of
Communities," sung on 8 international
and local channels and have been
featured on 6 radio stations in the US,
Canada, Australia and New Zealand,
recorded two successful albums, and sung
at Madison Square Garden and Lincoln
Center.
Recently they sang at the Michigan camp
meeting. The first night for an audience
of 2,000 and the second (Special
speaker, Mark Finely) nearly 6,000.
Yes, Crystal and Natasha have
accomplished a lot but to them it
doesn't matter what they have done but
what they will do.
The girls are constantly striving for
perfection in their vocal technique,
stage presence and basically everything
they do.
Do they have ambitions? Of course they
do but none of them is as great as to
share Christ with others. To bring souls
to him thru their music and to inspire
others to use their talents for the
Lord. There can be no better achievement
than this.
